Once there was a group of raccoons. They lived far from other raccoons, but they shared a friendship that they would always treasure and they always looked out for each other. The King raccoon has just passed and as a result, there was much dispute over who should be the new king of the land. When word had spread to this group of raccoons, they travelled from afar and when they got to the land, they discovered the challenge that awaited them. Among the largest of trash cans, there was a bag of cool ranch Doritos that must be obtained, for whoever could remove this bag was for sure the indication of who should be the next king. Among this group of raccoon friends, they all decided that they would try to become the next king, and they would as a result, help out each other and make sure they were all guaranteed wealth and happiness. Once there was a coyote, and all he wanted in life was a friend. He often caught himself watching all of the other animals, saddened, thinking to himself, "I wish I could fly like the bird" or "I wish I had such beauty as the ." But all of the other animals were warned about the coyotes kind. They were warned to stay away, because he was a dangerous creature. The coyote wanted to prove to the town that he was actually good, so he devised a plan that would surely show all the other animals that he was not bad. The coyote began to gather flowers and plants of such beauty, and he began to weave them into a banner that he planned to hang above the two main trees in the village. Once a girl died, and when she awoke all she could see was white. It was such a bright white that at first she couldn't move because she was stunned by it. When her eyes were adjusted she realized that it was a beautiful place with lots of pleasant sounds about, and lots of bright and peaceful colors. It appeared as if she was high in the sky, but just above the cloud lining, where there was a pleasant temperature. She realized that there were many people around her. It appeared as if as far as her eye could see there was villages and each one had a different, yet distinct look. As she tried to move, she realized that she couldn't and a sense of panic started to arise in her. She looked around but no one had seemed to notice her. Just then someone approached her; it was her mother who had passed long before her. They walked along a path, seemingly made of clouds, and as they walked they entered into what looked like small villages. Suddenly, the girl realized she was cold...

Once, there was a town with many animals that lived among each other in peace. There was a watering hole that they all shared and there were minimal issues. The town provided many benefits to the animals and they were all grateful. However, there was a cheetah who was always looking for ways to be better than the others and he wanted to prove that he could beat every animal in the town at something. He did not realize everything that the town offered him and he often thought he deserved better. During the week, each animal worked hard to get his or her garden looking great so as when the town got visitors they would like the way it looked. The cheetah however thought this was pointless and never did anything beneficial to the town despite all that it offered him. Once, there was a sloth and a panther. While the sloth lived among the highest tops of the trees and the panther lived on the ground, the panther often thought about how he could trick the sloth into becoming dinner for his family. He knew the only way to accomplish this was to convince the sloth to come down from the tree tops. He also knew that the sloth would come down from the tree tops to gather food for his family. One day he was hiding in the brush of the forest, and he saw the sloth begin to make his way down from the treetops. He had set a trap for the sloth, which was a sticky tree sap trap. As the sloth stepped into the sappy trap, he realized the problem and tried to escape. But he was too slow, and when the panther got there it was too late. He began to drag the sloth back to his family. "Ah, whatever you do, don't throw me into the river!" cried the sloth. Once, there was a simple world. People communicated by talking to one another, and occasionally people would even write down their thoughts onto paper and share it with others. People traveled via foot, and occasionally by animal. But, they didn't really know how big the world really was. The simple world was nice, and many people were only in contact with the people they wanted to be in contact with and they thought it was good. One girl, however, always wondered what the world was outside of her school and neighborhood. She began to experiment in her room and eventually created a prototype of a device that would allow her to talk to her neighbor without being in plane of vision. Her neighbor, was fascinated and they began to experiment together until they could get their device able to reach farther and farther distances. Psyche was a young girl living in today's society, and she saw that there were many things going on in the world that she did not agree with. One day as she was walking in downtown New York city she noticed a billboard that wasn't there on her walk the day before. The billboard read 'Bring World Peace: details inside.' While she stopped to read it and it caught her attention she kept walking along. The next day when she passed that same area, she found that the sign was gone. She asked someone about it and they didn't know what she was talking about. "That sign has always been an add for Chipotle," the stranger said. There once was a family of purebred French bulldogs. They were very well off but they had never been challenged, and the mother and father began to worry that her pups were going to turn out spoiled and rude. The father was always out hunting for food for the family, so usually the mother was with their three pups. It had been a long time since the pups had seen their father. One day a dog who looked like their father began to walk towards their house, however, it was actually a mutt. The pups saw him in the distance and ran to greet him because they were overjoyed that their father had returned! Haven't you ever had the thought: if only I could study in my sleep? For sixth grader Adam Wink, he thought this as he drifted off into sleep after hours of studying about the ancient cultures of the world. The last thing he remembered reading about was the Indian culture and how they believed in reincarnation and Buddha. As he drift off into sleep, his dream became very real and suddenly, there he was in 1920 India. He wandered the streets admiring the architecture and beauty. It was so different than anything he had ever seen before. Suddenly, he saw a group of other kids his age gathered in a group around an older teen who appeared to be telling them all a story. As he walked up, a story of Buddha who was reincarnated as a hare, was being tested on his word, began to unfold.
