The first storybook that stood out to me was Everything is Froggy by Tana Moore: https://sites.google.com/site/everythingisfroggy/home
This book stood out to me because the title was interesting and after reading the introduction it was clear to me that whoever wrote it did a really creative job. Everything is frog themed, which the title did a good job of describing. I really liked the part where she called it a "Frog Blog." Frogs are a great thing to make stories about because they are so colorful, they can be small or large, and they are portrayed in other stories with all different kinds of roles. I really liked how there were multiple aspects to her book and that several short stories made up the book. This is the layout of what I pictured the books to be like and the fun and creative colors and pages, when I first heard of this project.

The next storybook that stood out to me was Elf Tales by Elizabeth Biggs: https://sites.google.com/site/elftales0/
This book stood out to me again because I thought the approach was creative. Initially I thought of elves like the ones in Santa's workshop, which is what this blogger chose to write about, however it would have been interesting to see them take an approach to various types of elves. Since the title was Elf Tales, I was imagining hearing different tales about different kinds of elves and such but it seemed to only have one main plot line. After reading the introduction, I really enjoyed what they came up with, but it wasn't what I was picturing from the title. Maybe this can give me an idea for a project for me in the future.

The last storybook that stood out to me was Death's Story (I couldn't find the author): https://sites.google.com/view/deathsfinalstory/introduction
This stood out to me mainly because I thought it was different that the storyline was taking place in Death itself's perspective. It was very interesting because it was a darker take than most of the ones I had seen. After reading the introduction, it was clear that the author had some insightful and interesting ideas about death and the balance of the universe. I also thought the ideas were very creative, and they made me think about my own thoughts on the subject. It is a sensitive subject that no one really likes to talk or think about, so I thought it was a bold topic to pick. This book had a really organized and enticing layout.

Introduction

Hey everyone, my name is Stephanie Krawczyk. I'm from Tulsa, Oklahoma and I am beginning my senior and final year here at the University of Oklahoma studying Chemical Engineering. Although there are a lot of cool things about m major, I think the coolest thing about my major is that even though I have learned so much in my time here, there is so much out there to discover and continue learning! I love my family and I love that Tulsa isn't too far of a drive from them. And they can make the trip up to see me too. I have a younger brother, Adam, who just moved into his freshman year at the University of Arkansas, and I am so excited to see where his life takes him in the next couple of years. Also I have one dog who is the coolest dog in the whole world (even though all dogs are amazing). Her name is Kacy and she's 10 years old. I always make my parents send me pictures of her. Here is a picture I took of her: One of my other favorite things is food. I can't think of...

Week 11 Storytelling: The not so Wiley Coyote

Once there was a coyote, and all he wanted in life was a friend. He often caught himself watching all of the other animals, saddened, thinking to himself, "I wish I could fly like the bird" or "I wish I had such beauty as the ." But all of the other animals were warned about the coyotes kind. They were warned to stay away, because he was a dangerous creature. The coyote wanted to prove to the town that he was actually good, so he devised a plan that would surely show all the other animals that he was not bad. The coyote began to gather flowers and plants of such beauty, and he began to weave them into a banner that he planned to hang above the two main trees in the village. As he was setting up this banner, he noticed a roadrunner trot by and as he was admiring him, he forgot to attach the final piece of vine that would fully attach the banner. The other animals began to notice what the coyote was doing so they approached him. As the coyote was standing by, he...
